Hello,

We are Sandra & Mike Schäfer.

In 2021, we emigrated to Costa Rica with our family—full of hope and with the deep desire to give street dogs a better life. From the very beginning, we stood side by side. I am the one who cares for the medical treatment, nutrition, and holistic support—while Mike is the rock by my side: supporter, fellow rescuer, organizer, and always there when needed.

But our journey was not easy. The first years were marked by pain, doubts, and heavy losses. We lost nine of our rescued dogs—including my beloved soul dog Meylo, who changed my heart and my life forever.

From the very first moment, Meylo was my faithful companion. I spent countless hours with him at vets—yet nobody found the true cause of his illness. There were only medications, never real answers.

Then something happened that I will never forget:
One day, Meylo came to me, quietly snuggled up—and then left the house.
When he didn’t return, Mike and I searched for him together. We found him lifeless on our hill. That moment broke my heart. I was filled with pain, with questions—and on the verge of giving up everything.

But it was exactly this pain that became our turning point.
We started searching—for real causes, for a deeper understanding. Why did so many of our dogs have to go?

This was the beginning of our journey into natural healing—and Germanic Healing Knowledge. We realized that illness is never meaningless, but always follows a biological purpose.

Together with Mike, I discovered CDL, a substance that brings oxygen into the body and fights parasites, bacteria, and viruses. These insights led us to oxidative therapy, in which I received comprehensive training. Together, we found a new way to truly help our dogs—naturally and at the root cause.

Today, Mike and I care for 23 wonderful dogs who, thanks to holistic methods, have regained their joy, health, and trust.
We rely on holistic, natural approaches—no industrial food, no unnecessary chemicals. With us, there is fresh, home-cooked food, natural remedies, and lots of love.

I am a trained pharmaceutical assistant, healing massage therapist, wellness coach, nutritionist, holistic consultant for dogs, and therapist for oxidative applications.
And Mike is much more than just my support—he is a rescuer, enabler, companion, and the visionary without whom Hollywuff wouldn’t be what it is today.

Our daily work is based on remedies like DMSO, zeolite, sulfur, algae, and above all on a deep trust in the wisdom of nature and the body.

It is truly a matter of my heart to share this knowledge—with people who want to understand what really lies behind illness, and want to help their animals in a holistic way.
Because true healing begins with insight, trust—and love.
